Looking to achieve gorgeously matte skin this weekend? We have our step-by-step guide to achieve matte results using our new Matte Perfect Makeup Range.
Cleanse, tone, and moisturise your skin, so your makeup goes on easier and lasts longer. Then, apply Matte Perfect Primer to the T-zone area to give you extra mattifying protection, as this is the oiliest areas on your face.
Matte Perfect Foundation
Apply Matte Perfect Foundation all over your face using your fingers to warm the formula and really work it into your skin or use a foundation brush if preferred. Use no more than a pea-size amount because you don’t want the makeup to look heavy and caked on.
If you need extra coverage, apply Hide & Cover Up Concealer Stick to touch up any problem areas, like dark circles or a blemish.
Sweep Matte Perfect Loose Powder underneath your eyes, around your nose, chin and forehead since the concealer can get greasy if you applied in those areas. This not only sets the concealer, but also has light reflective properties so it brightens the skin.
In keeping with the matte theme, use a blush with a slight matte shimmer finish and aim to go for a natural shade of blush, such as Bonbon Blush so you’re left with a soft flush.
If you want to intensify your matte skin simply add a smoky eye using Elysium Palette. Apply the black eyeliner as a base. Smudge the pencil all over the lid. Once complete, add the eye shadow and blend. Remember for greater colour concentration, it’s important to blend, blend, blend!
Apply a flesh-toned lip balm to your lips for a beautiful, natural-looking finish and to complete your fresh-faced matte skin. Or if you want to be a little daring for your weekend look try a Velvet Lip Lacquer in Dash.
