"These eye quint pallettes are ridiculously good value for money - this is my 4th colourway, and I purchased Utopia online direct from MUA as it's not yet available in-stores. The eyeshadows' consistencies are x3 matte, x1 shimmer/topcoat and x1 foil or mousse. The mattes are smooth to apply and blend, long lasting and with minimum creasing in eyesockets. They feel comfortable on even my 50+ year old lid. The shimmer (Mesmerise, 1st on the left in the pan) is of a drier, more particled consistency to the foil (Aphrodite, the rose-gold on far right), which I smoosh onto my lid directly with my finger. And it stays on. Colourway is a mid-pink (mostly warmish undertone) selection: the mattes are dusty-pink, rose & softest terracotta. That Mesmerise is actually duochrome, of a semi-transparent mid-pink base shot through with icy lilac and silver-blue sparkles. All shadows can be applied with brush or fingers. I use a bit of primer and a flat brush to work with Mesmerise the duochrome, if I'm using it as a solo wash over my eyelid."
